Presenting, The 09 Zone, where we show you a glimpse of what 09ers have been up to recently.
It is no secret that 09ers are serial binge-watchers! And are always looking for new shows to watch. Through, 09 Binge Zone we’re basically gifting each other a diverse list of shows to watch ranging from The Bold Type to Scam 1992, probably you’ll find something of your interest too! Read along and thank us later.
So to begin with, we randomly picked out 6 people from the team and found out what they were watching this week! The first one on our radar was our Chief Strategy Officer, Raj Patalia. We’ve known all along about the immense knowledge he has on marketing strategies, brand positioning, and lots more. But what we didn’t know was his passion for shows featuring a lot of military action. His list is so long, that one would question whether these many military action shows even exist. This week he’ll be watching 9-1-1 and House MD.
Next is our go-to media guy, Karan Mirani. Currently, he is watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S for the 3rd time! He keeps rewatching his favorite episodes from his favorite show, relatable, isn’t it? Along with that, he has his eye on another show called Lupin, the plot is fascinating to think about. Although fictional, we can only imagine what would happen if it were real…
Bipeen Nadgauda with his brilliant tech skills currently leads the tech team at 09. He recently watched the 2nd season of The Family Man. This reminds us that there was a time in the office where everybody extensively discussed the show, scene by scene. Coming to his ongoing watch, Z-Nation is a power-packed multi-genre show. The plot is based in a post-apocalyptic world, mixed with some thrilling horror scenes, complemented with some worthwhile action sequences, garnished with a lot of drama, and some comedy for final touches.
Priya Vasat is one of our talented smart creatives. She’s a zealous reader and a comfort viewer. She’s currently watching The Bold Type, a comedy-drama that seamlessly narrates the ambitious lives of 3 creatives who work at a publication house. Her previous binge-watch is also worth mentioning. Lucifer, the protagonist is a powerful angel who got cast out of heaven for his rebellious actions, fun right?!
The crowd at 09 is extremely diverse, people from all walks, with all kinds of talks to share. And Aniket, 09’s brand catalyst loves to watch anime, consequentially adding a new genre to our list which is as diverse as the entire rat species. So his last anime watch was Jujutsu Kaisen, and boy is the plot mind-boggling. Set in a world full of cursed spirits who feed on the flesh of humans, and only Jujutsu knows how to save the world. He’s been watching The Boys lately, the show is a fun take on the goodness of a stereotyped superhero.
And, last but not the least, the jolliest 09er, Krunal Bhavsar, who also takes care of 09’s finances. Earlier this week, he finished watching Vitthal Teedi, a Gujarati web series (speak of diversity, huh?) and is now watching Aspirants, a fictional depiction of the real-life struggles faced by UPSC aspirants every year, across India.
